Ee Kilikkootil (In this Bird’s Nest) is a poem which beautifully delineates the different human situations through the life of birds. Birds live in unity and happiness in the nest built using twigs and strands. Suddenly the situation changes.

“In this deserted nest,

Saturated with gloom

And bleeding wounds,

This lonely bird, whose feathers are shed,

Waits for her destiny

In separation, monotony and fear!”
